Import existing QuickBooks data. If QuickBooks (2002 or higher) is installed on your BigTime system, then all you have to do is point to a QuickBooks data file and the BigTime import wizard takes care of the rest.
Let BigTime inform you when changes are pending. When BigTime or QuickBooks edits a field that QuickBooks allows us to update, then those updates are handled automatically! Here, the system administrator is notified of a few "new" staff members which need to be OK'ed for use in BigTime.
BigTime can keep both systems up to date. You select which system gets "priority", and BigTime will keep all of your shared data up to date. If you've got special accounts you'd rather not export to BigTime, then just mark them as private, and they won't be hooked up.
