Match MSProject resources to your BigTime staff. Each MSProject resource can be mapped to either a specific staff member or a staff “group,” so BigTime knows how to budget that time. Most of the time, MasterPlan takes care of all that work behind the scenes, matching resources to staff members based on their email addresses. The resource map screen enables you to customize those links.
Once project budgets find their way into BigTime, the system takes care of helping you plan and manage. MSProject budgets can be used to automatically update staff allocations, so you can see exactly where each team member’s time is budgeted. In addition, you can see how all of those project plans interact with an extensive set of capacity and utilization reports and screens.
